Unlocking AI's Power in Domain Modelling
21 - Nov - 2024
Details
This unique meetup event will be part of the Global DDD Day initiative that is a world wide event aimed at promoting the principles and practices of Domain-Driven Design. This event combines local meetup events with a continuous 16-hour online open space.
Of course, DDD Hungary can't miss out on this either, and so we organize this meetup event where we are going to crunch very trendy and at the same time very interesting topics both related to AI in domain modelling, that I know evokes mixed feelings in the audience.
Our agenda will look like something like this:
6 PM (CEST) - welcome & intro
6:15 PM: talk I. - How to accelerate design with AI - Staffan Palopää, Qlerify (see more details about the talk below)
6:45 PM - Q&A (regarding the first talk)
7:00 PM - talk II. - Process mining with ABBYY Timeline - Tamás Máhr, ABBYY (see more details about the talk below)
7:30 PM - Q&A (regarding the second talk)
from 7:45 PM: Discussion, networking
Be part of this unique experience and contribute to this worldwide initiative to advance the practice of DDD and help others tackle complex business challenges effectively.
More details on the above talks:
1) Revolutionizing Design With the Power of AI.
DDD & Domain Modeling can take a long time to learn and understand. This could be one of the biggest impediments for increased adoption of DDD. With the help of AI, we can speed up the learning process dramatically. We can create domain models (from prompts) in minutes rather than days or weeks. This helps visualise the benefits of DDD for stakeholders. Staffan (Stockolm, Sweden) who recently built and exited the 500 person software company Vaimo, an e-commerce solution provider will show us how this is possible with the new startup Qlerify that uses AI for domain modelling and requirements gathering.
2) Process Mining With ABBYY Timeline.
It’s generally true that analyses we now conduct using various process mining methods used to be done through lengthy and costly interviews and by observing people at work. The goal of such projects was typically to optimize business processes, and sometimes even to automate them entirely. From here, it’s just one step to apply all of this in general software development—of course, only if the data is already available.
Tamas Máhr will talk about how all this is possible with ABBYY Timeline (which is basically a process mining platform) and how to combine AI-driven process mining, task mining, and data analysis.
